As the first and only semi-professional league of Australian Football in the United States, Major League Footy is dedicated to the grass-roots growth of every competitive level of our sport across North America.

After a successful inaugural season of “off-season” (November – March) competition in 2016, Major League Footy returns for the 2017-’18 campaign.

Taking advantage of the tremendous opportunity inherent to Florida’s agreeable ‘winter’ weather, Major League Footy is the only year-round competition in the USA, enabling teams around the state – and interested players from around the nation (or around the world) – to enjoy a winter stint of footy in the Sunshine State!

In fostering the grass-roots growth of Aussie Rules in Florida, Major League Footy emphasizes creating a fun, inclusive community of athletes and supporters. Major League Footy is likewise committed to rigorous personal training and selfless teamwork, world-class competition, and social interaction among players from all walks of life.

We believe that no sport encourages a ‘level playing field’ for co-ed players of all ages, skill level or fitness than Aussie Rules, and we encourage you to come have a kick with us!

All practices, training sessions and competitions are always free, and open to all.
