MLF RETURNS TO ICONIC GROUND

St. Petersburg Swans v Orlando Kangas

St. Petersburg Swans Aussie Fives football returns to St. Pete’s iconic Crescent Lake Common today, as the Swans take on Starfish FC in the #battleoftheburg, kicking off the 2019 Major League Footy Summer Derby.

The off-season competition runs through Autumn, when the 2019-20 Premiership Season gets underway.

Crescent Lake is the historic spring training home of the New York Yankees and New York Mets, and the Common was originally designed in the early 1920s as a potential cricket oval – and has been the training ground of the Swans since 2014.

The St. Petersburg Swans train at Crescent Lake Common every Wednesday evening at 6 PM, and all training sessions are open to co-ed players of all ages and skill level.

All 2019 St. Petersburg Swans summer trainings, practices and competitions are free of charge for players and supporters.
