MLF REALIGNS; ADDS WESTERN CONFERENCE
Major League Footy is pleased to announce the addition of four Phoenix area sides to the competition, effective immediately.
The formation of the MLF Western Conference will see the Phoenix Scorpions, Tempe Devils, Tombstone Marshalls and West Side (Phoenix) Bombers compete for position on the 2018 Major League Footy Premiership Season ladder.
The Western Conference champion will square off against the Eastern Conference minor premiers in the 2018 Major League Footy Championship this Autumn.
With active players from throughout the entire Valley of the Sun region, the new MLF Phoenix-area sides share the league’s commitment to the growth of Australian football in Arizona, and the Western United States.
All four current MLF Western Conference clubs train at the Benedict Sports Complex in Tempe, while Major League Footy matches are held Saturdays at Tempe Sports Complex.
Major League Footy is the independent competition of Australian Football in the United States, with an emphasis of head-to-head competition, rather than tournament play. Games are played on American football (gridiron) fields under rules specifically designed for the United States.
Major League Footy is fully independent and revenue-supported, and is not affiliated with any other football organization or governing body.
