McUNTOUCHABLE! NEW ACE LEADS SCORING CHASE

MCINTOSH

Ben McIntosh (L) put up his second consecutive scoring masterpiece Saturday.

With consecutive 11-goal performances, Gold Coast native and recent Florida import Ben McIntosh now seemingly has a stranglehold on the 2018 Major League Footy Scoring Leadership.

Moving to more-than-double the next top goal-kicker, Miami’s Neil Cohen, McIntosh has demonstrated outrageous accuracy, as he’s yet to register a behind.

Expected to be assigned to a permanent side after the MLF Week 7 bye, McIntosh has now captured consecutive Best On Ground honors for StarfishFC and the Tampa Bay Bombers as he works his way back from a lingering injury that saw his MLF debut delayed through the season’s first month.

Also entering the scoring chase is footy veteran Aaron Crittenden, who moves into fourth on the leader board with 54 total points. The former baseballer and hurler is in his third season of Aussie Rules, and finds the Swans schedule favoring his chances to play a long game in his pursuit of the top of the table.

The pending return of 2017 scoring leader Jake Keglor may shake up the scoring leadership as the summer footy action amps up. Keglor flirted with a 100-goal pace before slowing due to injury for the Swans during the ’17 campaign.
