KANGAS, STARFISH CLASH FOR CRUCIAL 4 POINTS

With the Florida Winter circuit’s top two clubs – the Suncoast Suns (2-0-0) and St. Pete Swans (1-0-0) –  idle for Round 4, the Kangas and StarfishFC will tussle for a crucial four points on the ladder as Major League Footy play resumes this Saturday in St. Petersburg.

Looking to rebound after a Round 3 loss to the Suns, Greg Bray and StarfishFC will host a Kangaroos side captained by USAFL Women’s D2 championship player Dionne Jones as the squad makes their 2016-’17 Winter League season debut. The club also assumes the ‘Kangas’ nickname from the newly-christened Orlando AFC, who became the ‘Landsharks’ for 2017.

Offense figures to be at a premium on the 140 m oval at Crescent Lake Common in a match that will immediately follow the combined club’s 10 AM training session. The winners will force a tie with the St. Petersburg Swans and close to within one game back of Suncoast on the Major League Footy ladder as the season resumes from a Holiday Break.
